  As many of you are aware I am an Ovarian Cancer Survivor. I was diagnosed May 2019 and did IV Chemo the last half of the year along with surgery. My cancer is currently in remission. My cancer is genetic based as I have the BRCA2 gene.    One of my favorite colors has slowly become Flirty Flamingo.  But this Spring it has finally completely won me over!  This cute card was one we made at my recent Travel the World Stamp Camp.    I love our In-Colors. It's a fantastic way for Stampin' Up! to freshen our color choices each year.  Magenta Madness is one of my go-tos if I want something  Bright, Cheery {& maybe to add a touch of Madness-lol} I mean does a Silky Chicken eating a Cupcake = Madness to You?  Let me know- this card was one I CASE'd from fellow demo Ronda Wade.

 The adorable Snailed It! Suite was a favorite at my JJ Mini Catalog Launch.  Here I added a bit of Granny Apple Oh So Ombre DSP ( a SAB Reward) along with the DSP in the collection. Using our new Blending Brushes makes it a cinch to create soft earthy backgrounds. But my oh my the Rave Fav was the teeny tiny die cut mushroom from the accompanying die set. What do you think?

 I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the Sweet Little Valentines Cards & more kit in our New JJ Mini Catalog. Today Ill share how to take these cards and give them an unexpected twist.  In the kit you get 5 double sided layer 'postcards', 10 card bases (5 each of 2 different designs) and 10 envelopes lined with a metallic print.  For this project seal the envelope, Cut off 1/8-1/4 from a side edge - that will now become the top of your 'pocket' Cut one card base in half- adhere a half to either side of the envelope - to pretty it up- Catch all the details here via video:

  I'm SOOO Excited to start a New Year here in 2021. My goal is to bring you a post or two a week this year. Having my Blog up and running was a goal I set last year and sadly with health things and Covid I was unable to really work on it. I wanted to make sure I could be consistent in posting.  So with that said- Lets Light It Up in 2021! I know this first post may be a bit overwhelming but I literally do NOT want you to miss out on all my January offerings! Hence the Mega Load of Photos.

Let's Light it Up 'til You're on Fire! I believe each one of us on this earth has a Creative Spark that lies within us.  We are designed to create. I love helping people find and develop the sparks of creativity that they are passionate about building into a Bonfire. My personal love of Paper Crafting has existed since before I can truly remember- but when I found Stampin' Up! 22+ years ago, it was the kindling that lit that love into flames.  I also love the outdoors, you name it- camping, hiking, floating & CAMPFIRES. There is just something about sitting around a fire that is so relaxing & therapeutic to me. I've even been known to stamp around a campfire on occasion.  So with a move to Colorado 2 years ago; I began to once again desire to help teach and really promote the passion and therapy that I find within stampin' and paper crafting- and after a surprising battle this past year with OV Cancer- here I am!
